Job Summary
We’re looking for an eager and energetic Marking Intern to assist the marketing and development teams with various tasks, including creating social media graphics and compaigns for Lauritzen Gardens Antique & Design Show, Polina Gardens, and Lauritzen Gardens; creating promotional materials; capturing photographs of the gardens; and photo keywording, while gaining experience in the field.
What You’ll Do
- Social Media Management.
- Content Creation - Copyingwriting, photography, videography, and supporting graphics.
- Create and deliver promotional materials.
- Attend outreach events.
- Support with various events.
- Photo Datasbase management.
- Market Research.
- General office tasks.
What You Bring
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Experience with video editing and production (DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro).
- Understanding of social media platforms and a knowledge of how to tailor content for marketing purposes.
- Basic knowledge of photography equipment, camera operation, and photo editing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Passion for plants and botanical gardens.
- Ability to multitask and mange time effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment
- Full-time (40 hours/week) with occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays
- Work both indoors (shop) and outdoors across garden grounds
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, and equipment
